Embryology Lab

Embryology Lab

Specialized embryologists × International-standard reproductive medical equipment

In assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization, the embryo culture laboratory is truly the "heart" of the facility. It provides the optimal environment for handling, culturing, and evaluating embryos, playing a crucial role in determining the success of treatment.

Our hospital has established a high-quality embryo culture laboratory that meets international standards, combining cutting-edge technology, rigorous processes, and a specialized team. This allows us to offer couples hoping to conceive a higher success rate and strongly support them in realizing their dream of having a new life.

What do we do in our Embryology Lab?

Once egg retrieval is complete, the process continues through egg and sperm processing, fertilization, embryo culture, and storage.

All crucial steps are performed in our embryo culture laboratory.

Preparation of eggs and sperm

Fresh eggs are carefully separated and washed after collection and cultured in an incubator that replicates the uterine environment. Meanwhile, sperm undergo rigorous screening, with only those exhibiting high motility and good morphology being selected. Whether fresh or frozen, all eggs and sperm are managed through a strict process to ensure their quality and vitality.

ICSI Precision Insemination Technology

In cases of male infertility, past fertilization failures, or when a high success rate is desired, single-sperm intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is performed, in which a single, carefully selected sperm is directly injected into a mature egg, improving both the fertilization rate and embryo quality.

Blastocyst culture

At our clinic, we recommend culturing embryos for 5 to 7 days to develop them into blastocysts, which are considered to have a high implantation rate. We also provide individualized suggestions based on each patient's situation, supporting them to proceed through the most optimal steps with peace of mind.

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT)

By examining the chromosome number and genetic health of embryos, it becomes possible to select and transfer healthier embryos. This reduces the risk of miscarriage and leads to an improved pregnancy success rate.

Egg and embryo cryopreservation

Our clinic employs vitrification cryopreservation technology, maintaining a high survival rate (approximately 98%) even after thawing. Those who wish to delay conception or preserve high-quality embryos left over from IVF treatment can entrust their future hopes to us with confidence.

Every embryo holds the dreams and hopes of your family. We cherish the beginning of that life, watching over it and guiding it towards happiness as hope blossoms.
