Some couples have difficulty conceiving.
To determine the cause, undergo professional infertility testing.
If pregnancy does not occur after more than one year of regular unprotected sexual intercourse, or if the woman is 35 years of age or older, if pregnancy does not occur after 6 months of trying to conceive,
We recommend getting tested as soon as possible.
Female infertility testing
Ovulation and Egg Quality Assessment
Blood tests are used to check hormone levels and ovarian reserve in the body, and to evaluate ovulation status and egg quality. Based on this, we plan the optimal reproductive medical treatment plan.
Confirmation of fallopian tube patency
Healthy, well-functioning fallopian tubes are essential for natural conception. If the fallopian tubes are blocked due to adhesions, endometriosis, pelvic infection, or other causes, fertilization will be hindered.
Uterine evaluation
Ultrasound examinations are used to check the structure of the uterus and ovaries, and hysteroscopy is performed to evaluate for abnormalities such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and intrauterine polyps.
Male infertility testing
Since approximately 40–50% of infertility cases are related to male factors, both men and women should undergo a comprehensive infertility assessment.
Semen analysis evaluates sperm concentration, motility, forward motility, morphology, presence of anti-sperm antibodies, and sperm DNA fragmentation rate (DFI). Abnormalities in these areas may affect the chances of conception.
Depending on the results of the semen analysis, your doctor may suggest additional blood tests to assess hormone levels and potential genetic abnormalities.
Based on these test results, the medical team will plan an appropriate treatment plan. Specifically, this may include a combination of in vitro fertilization (IVF) using the spouse's sperm and intracytoplasmic single sperm injection (ICSI), or the use of sperm donation to support pregnancy.
Why don't you start by consulting with the medical team?
