"Pregnancy Case via Egg Donation at Age 47｜A New Option for Late Marriages"

The baby has not yet been born, but the family is already buzzing with the topic of "Will the baby look more like Dad or Mom?" Both sides of the family are eagerly looking forward to this precious life.

For S, this baby is her first child and may possibly be her only child. Due to late marriage and the passage of time since her wedding, she hasn’t had many opportunities to deeply consider pregnancy and childbirth while being busy with work. However, last year, seeing her colleagues’ children advancing to middle and high school made her think, “I should start considering this too.” She wondered if it would be easy to aim for pregnancy at 47 and if she could maintain hope—amidst such uncertainties, S began her journey.

After consulting with several reproductive medicine facilities, Mr. and Mrs. S chose to seek advice from the Yasuda Reproductive Center. Following various tests and a careful assessment of their condition, it was determined that for Mr. S, egg donation was the most realistic option.
