A 45-Year-Old Achieves Pregnancy at Our Clinic: A Case Study of Egg Donation and In Vitro Fertilization After 4 Years of Trying for Pregnancy

Ms. H is 45 years old and has been trying to conceive for about four years, visiting multiple reproductive medical facilities. She is aware of the decline in ovarian function associated with her age and has seriously considered treatment through egg donation after reaching the age of 45.
While researching information on the internet, H learned that our clinic has its own egg bank, allowing for treatment without having to travel far. She made an appointment for an outpatient visit. During her initial consultation, H had many questions, and the director provided careful and precise answers, as well as psychological support. As a result, H began the process of egg donation and in vitro fertilization treatment.
During treatment, a hysteroscopy revealed the presence of uterine polyps and endometritis, necessitating the continuation of treatment. Additionally, if the endometrium did not become sufficiently thick, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy) was introduced to improve the uterine environment.
In March of this year, after the conditions were met, two embryos were transferred, and we received the report that Ms. H became pregnant. This is one example of the fruitful collaboration between Ms. H and the medical team after a long treatment period.
